In 2024 I wanted to reinvent my personal brand. I found myself more advanced as a designer and also more aware of what design elements best represented me. After a lot of sketching and inspiration research (personal branding is hard!), I was inspired by the “ * ” icon that created the crossbars of the A’s and F’s of the font The Seasons, and saw an opportunity to incorporate it into my personal monogram. Stars are significant to me because they represent how light can overcome the darkness, which is an idea that has always fascinated me and is often a part of the stories I love most. The connection from the “a” to the “F” in my monogram is a shooting star to capture this. Accompanying the star design is a palette of colors I have come to recognize as my signatures (just ask my friends) as well as a modernized serif font that captures my clean, elegant, yet fun persona.
